About Us (or why are we doing this?)
Overview
Who Are We?
We have gained a lot of miscellaneous knowledge from learning how to
bowl, coaching, traveling to/from tournaments and holding tournaments,
and we are now the proud parents of a college grad-u-ate after 5 years
of collecting scholarships to pay for school as well as a new college
freshman. With this abundance of weirdly specific experience we feel
that we can help others to avoid the pitfalls ad increase their knowledge
of youth bowling.
If we don't know the answers we know where to go find them. We have
contacts at local, state and nationals levels.
We hope to become a clearinghouse for parents and youth bowlers on
any bowling information.  

We started in Youth bowling as parents in 1984 when William first
joined a league. We became YABA certified coaches in 1987, certified
Youth Advisors in 1988, continued to update our certifications every
few years and eventually became TEAM USA Bronze level coaches in
1993 when that became available.  

We have been involved in the Junior Gold program from the
beginning and have "adopted" youth bowlers across the country.
We are just another bowling family. We have 2
boys that bowl as well as both of us.  We have
been going to tournaments and doing
scholarship fundraisers since 1984 when our
oldest started bowling youth leagues.
